CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The fourth-ranked Miami Hurricanes return home to complete a home-and-home series with the 14th-ranked Florida State Seminoles at Mark Light Field beginning Friday, April 16, at 7 p.m.

The series continues Saturday at 7 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will be broadcast live on the Sunshine Network. Frank Forte and Tom Block will call the action.

The student voice of the Hurricanes, WVUM (90.5 FM) and WXAY (790 AM) will carry all three games. Joe Zagacki and Brian London will call the game on WXAY. Saturday night’s game will be broadcast in Spanish on WMNA (1210 AM).

Friday night’s game will pit UM left-hander J.D. Cockroft (2-3, 4.15 ERA) against FSU’s Eddie Cannon (7-2, 2.91 ERA). Cannon pitched six innings last Friday against the Hurricanes and allowed five runs.

Right-hander Cesar Carrillo (5-0, 3.19 ERA) will get the start on Saturday for Miami opposite FSU starter Mark Sauls (3-2, 3.91 ERA).

The series finale will have Hurricanes’ left-hander Brandon Camardese going to the hill against Florida State’s Rhett James. Camardese was almost untouchable last Sunday against FSU, while James worked 6.1 innings in relief to take the loss.

Tickets are available through the University of Miami ticket office at 1-800-GO-CANES. Tickets are $15 for chairback seating, $8 for adult general admission and $6 for youth and seniors.
