CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team will attempt to snap a two-match losing streak with an upset over No. 15 Texas Christian University Wednesday evening in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Hurricanes (9-2), who climbed one spot to No. 31 in the latest ITA rankings released Tuesday, look to rebound after a disappointing 6-1 loss to then No. 13 Texas A&M Monday night in College Station, Texas.

Sophomore Colin Purcell paces the Hurricanes after downing A&M’s Brett Joelson in straight sets at the No. 4 position to win his tenth consecutive singles match of the season.

The Horned Frogs (11-1) host Miami after suffering their first loss of the season this past Saturday, falling to Tulsa, 4-3.

The Hurricanes hold an advantage in the all-time series with TCU at 13-6 after downing the Horned Frogs, 5-2 last season in Coral Gables.
