Hurricanes host Leonard Hamilton and FSU on Sunday!
The Miami Hurricane men’s basketball team continues their season at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 14 when they host intrastate rival Florida State Seminoles. Sunday’s game versus Florida State will mark the return of former Hurricane coach Leonard Hamilton. Hamilton, who is in his second season as head coach of the Seminoles, served as head basketball coach at Miami for 10 seasons before departing following the 1999-2000 season to take over the head coaching duties of the NBA’s Washington Wizards. Women’s hoops look to “Crowd the Convo!”
At 7 p.m., Friday, December 12, the women’s basketball team will attempt to “Crowd the Convo!” The Hurricanes will be hosting their intrastate rival, the University of Florida Gators, at the UM Convocation Center, and all tickets for this game will cost only $1. Big East Individual Tickets On Sale Saturday!
Individual game tickets to all eight (8) Big East conference games, including clashes with Pittsburgh, Georgetown and 2003 NCAA National Champion Syracuse will go on sale on Saturday, December 13 at 12 Noon via www.hurricanesports.com. Additionally, tickets can be purchased at the Convocation Center Ticket Office, Hurricane Ticket Office or by calling (305) 284-CANES during normal business hours.
