(www.hurricanesports.com) – – Players, coaches, food, prizes, entertainment and much more are awaiting all those who will be attending CANESFEST 2003, sponsored by JM Lexus, on July 26th at the Broward County Convention Center and July 27th at the South Florida Fairgrounds in Palm Beach.
This year’s CANESFEST will kick-off the start of the 2003 football season which will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the “Miracle in Miami,” the Hurricanes first National Championship football win in 1983. It will also give fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with Hurricane football players and coaches. Each day of the event will include an autograph session and other opportunities to interact with players and coaches.
Every year CANESFEST continues to grow, and this year will be no different. Join us and be a part of the action. Be sure to check out the memorabilia from current players, former players and coaches that will be auctioned off during the silent auction.
At CANESFEST, fans will also get a first glance at special football ticket packages. Great season ticket seats still remain for as little as $150. This year’s home schedule opens up with the Florida Gators on Sept. 6 and also includes home games against Tennessee, Syracuse and East Carolina. Season tickets are the only way to guarantee your seats for these games. Can’t make it to all Hurricane home game? Come out to CANESFEST and check out the mini-ticket packs that will go on sale exclusively at CANESFEST.
CANESFEST at the Broward County Convention Center will be on Saturday, July 26th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and day two at the South Florida Fairgrounds will be held on Sunday, July 27th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Both events are FREE.Be sure to come out and enjoy all that CANESFEST 2003 has to offer. From the North: I – 95 or the Florida Turnpike south. Exit to 595 east. Exit to Route 1 North. Turn East on S.R. 84/Spangler Blvd. Follow signs to Convention Center.
From the South: I – 95 or Florida Turnpike North. Exit to 595 east. Exit at Route 1 North. Turn East on S.R. 84/Spangler Blvd. Follow signs to the Convention Center.
