CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 30 University of Miami men’s tennis team (13-7) will travel to Gainesville, Fla. to face No. 31 Florida State (14-10) on Saturday, May 10 at 1 p.m. to participate in the NCAA Tennis Regionals hosted by the University of Florida.

Miami is making its seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.

Miami beat FSU 5-2 in Tallahassee earlier this season and leads the all-time series 44-6 over the Seminoles.

The Hurricanes were the No. 1 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament and claimed the 2003 NCAA Automatic bid as play against No. 3-seeded Notre Dame was suspended due to bad weather at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables, Fla. Sunday April 27.

No. 2-ranked host-school Florida (22-4) will face Central Florida (20-3) in the other first-round matchup.

The winner of the Florida/UCF match will play the winner of the Miami/FSU contest on Sunday, May 11 at 1 p.m.

The announcement of the participants for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships will be held on Thursday May 1st.

Tickets for the NCAA First and Second Round matches played in Gainesville may be purchased in advance or on the day of the tournament. An all-session pass is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for senior citizens, college students, or children under 17. Singles day tickets for Friday and Saturday are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for senior citizens, college students, or children under 17. Single day tickets for Sunday are $3.00 for everyone.

Saturday May 10 * Men’s NCAA First Round

9 a.m. — Florida vs. UCF
1 p.m. — Miami vs. Florida State

Sunday May 11 * Men’s NCAA Second Round
1 p.m. — Saturday’s First Round winners
