PHILADELPHIA, PA (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s 4×100-meter relay finished fifth with a time of 44.72, and sophomore All-American Lauryn Williams (Rochester, PA) qualified for Saturday’s 100-meter dash final Friday afternoon at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, PA.

In other action the 4×200-meter relay finished second in its heat with a time of 1:35.76 while the shuttle hurdle relay also took second in its heat with a time of 55.72 seconds.

Individually, sophomore Chinela Davis (Haverstraw, NY) finished 15th in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 11.59 meters (38-00.75).

Competition at the Penn Relays will conclude on Saturday.
