Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – On Tuesday, March 11, 2003 the UMAA will host a Big East Pep Rally & Reception at the ESPNZONE (1472 Broadway) in New York City. The event will take place regardless of whether the Hurricane basketball team makes it to the Big East Championship, so join us to meet and network with fellow UM alumni in the heart of Manhattan. The Big East Pep Rally & Reception is scheduled from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will feature complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. Young alumni from the classes of 1993-2002 are also encouraged to arrive early beginning at 5:30 pm for a special happy hour. Other special events are also scheduled during the week in New York. All 1970’s alumni are invited to attend a special 25th & 30th Reunion Luncheon with special guest Dr. William R. Butler, former Vice President of Student Affairs, at Eleven Madison Park on Wednesday, March 12 at 12:30 pm. In addition, a President’s Circle Luncheon (by invitation only) is scheduled in Long Island on Thursday, March 13 at Noon.
