Women Helping Women
Join the fun as Dianna Coker teaches the basic fundamentals of collegefootball in Football 101. A football tutorial, lunch, interaction withstudent-athletes, and prizes will be included with all proceeds benefitingUM women’s athletics. Head Football Coach Larry Coker will also make a guestappearance at the event, which is scheduled to take place on Monday,September 8th at 11 a.m. in the Knight Sports Complex on Miami’s CoralGables campus. Volleyball Starts off Right! 
The University of Miami’s Valeria Tipiana has been named the BIG EASTPreseason Player of the Year. Along with Tipiana, teammate Mallorey Jameswas also selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST First Team. The Hurricaneswere picked to finish second in the BIG EAST, as voted on by conferencecoaches with four first-place votes. Notre Dame received nine first-placevotes and was picked as the favorite to win the BIG EAST following itsseventh BIG EAST title in eight years last season. More volleyball information here
