Read Your Greetings Here!
From JJ Fritz, Clearwater, Florida to the team: Business is business! NOW it’s time to knock some heads off & show the rest of the country and doubters what you’re made of. Remember play each play and each game as if it were your last. Leave it ALL out on the field!
From Rodney W. Davis, Sylva, North Carolina to Ken Dorsey: I just want you to know how proud I am of you. I was behind the east end zone for the drive, and I feel in my heart you will lead us through. Thank you.
From Fred Stein, Aliso Viejo, California to Ken Dorsey: Don’t worry about last week. Bad games happen, hopefully this week you will throw more screen and 5-10 yard outs. Just relax and read the D.
From Lamar Hicks, Clarksdale, Mississippi to the whole team: I hope that you guys are ready to play Saturday. I’m glad that you got the victory, but I worried about the offense. The defense has really done it’s part and now it’s time for the offense to do their part! Beat the Orangemen! Go Canes!!!!!!
From Ronald Harrington, Syracuse, New York to Larry Coker and staff and the whole team: I have been a Canes fan for years and I am from Syracuse. I picked the Canes over Nebraska in the Orange Bowl. I wasn’t wrong then and am not wrong now. MIAMI will be no.1 after new years.
From PA Cane Fan, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Frank Gore: Dude…. great going…. don’t think about that one fumble… it’s history!!! Look towards the future.
From John Stelling, Chicago, Illinois to Ken Dorsey: Ken, Please keep focused! You are on the threshold of a national championship.
From Michael Vyterna, Las Vegas, Nevada to the entire UM Football team/Coaching staff: Tough day at B.C. Today fellas… if you were going to have an off game, B.C. was the one to do it with!! Now make your adjustments, stay positive, focused, and fire out on “our” last 4 games… I’ll see you all in Pasadena January 3rd!! Go get #5!!!!!!
From Mathew Ahmu, San Diego, California to Jacqui Cobo: whats happenin juss droppin by to see how your doin and hope i finally contact you check your email for a change. your homeboi on da westcoast bubba ~$~
From Diomedes (HEAVYDEE), Miami, Florida to Ed Reed: Way to snatch that ball and run it for a touchdown. #91, thanks for saving us a national title. We struggled a little but a win is a win in my book and the coach’s. Congratulations to the whole team.
From John Kaminskas, Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Ken Dorsey: Congrats on a super season. You are truly the best in football.
From Rob Wilson, Dade City, Florida to Larry Coker: I know you’re busy, thanks for the look. Tell your guys that the nation is waiting for them to stumble – which is why success will be that much sweeter – nobody wants you to have it except for you and us fans – god bless you all!!!
From Kenyan Lewis, Toronto, Canada to Kevin Beard: Yo Kev what up. How’s things with you. I’ve reviewed your profile and it is very impressive for the eye. I’m just dropping a couple of lines to say whats up and to see what you are up too. May your season be a good one. Your teammate from Lauderhill, Kenyan.
From Jim Short, Port St. Lucie, Florida to the entire Football Team: O.K. Guys, no more “Mr. Nice Guy”. Cut out the penalties and execute. Boston College starts the post season, so give your all in the stretch run. It’s time to show the football world that you are the best and the BCS will take care of the rest.
From Andy Hanson, Jacksonville, Florida to Ken Dorsey: Hey Ken, glad you are turning around the cane’s program. I am a long time canes fan and I got to go to the FSU game which was my first Canes game ever! I was impressed how you were so calm and poised. Good luck and keep them motivated to win!!!
From Andy Hanson, Jacksonville, Florida to Troy Prasek: Hey man, hope you can get some pt soon, I saw you at the FSU game and that was weird seeing you out there. Good luck and I hear you might be in baseball? Let me know ok.
From Eric Koehler, Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the entire team: Keep it rollin’. Congrats on the season so far. Tough being a long time Canes fan living in PA. People here just can’t figure out that the best football comes out of South Florida. Good luck with the rest of the season. Eric
From Diomedes(Heavydee), Miami, Florida to THE O-LINE: You guys are like the United Nations protecting Ken Dorsey, all different countries but one big family. Keep up the good work and we’ll see ya in California.
From Michael Maggio to Najeh Davenport: Najeh, I’ve been a huge Hurricane fan since I was 13 – when they won their first national championship. So much so, that before I went on a road trip to watch them play for their fifth national championship, I had a tattoo of the ibis wearing FIVE championship rings. We all know what happened that year and the many years to follow. Last year my hopes of my tatoo becoming a reality and not just wishful thinking were shattered by the BCS. I write you this e-mail because watching college football again this year and seeing a lot of powerful undefeated teams lose to lesser opponents – I’m surmizing that its likely these teams were unfocused and underestimated their opponents. Your team and the rest of the nation know it is yours to lose this year. I know you are looked at as a team leader so please before everyone of these last games, remind your teammates any team can be defeated anytime ..Remain focused and win the championship you should have won last year. It would also fulfill the final finger an a hand.. one for the thumb. Peace ~ Rasin’ Cane
From John Watson to the team: You guys win out we’ll see you in the Rose Bowl, if we win out also. The BCS is a great idea but it does have some flaws. I don’t agree with Oklahoma being #2 when Miami is undefeated, but if Miami wins out, they will be in the Rose Bowl. Hopefully Nebraska is there and we can play each other on a neutral field. Good luck from the state of Nebraska.
From Otto Liller, Tacoma, Washington to Larry Coker: As a 1993 UM grad, Saturdays in the Orange Bowl were care free. We won all of our home games and 2 championships as well. It was great to be a student during those times. Those times are finally back! Great job, keep it up, Rose Bowl here we come!
From Adam Hill, Toledo, Ohio to the team: Great Job against Temple and good luck on the next 4 weeks. They will be your toughest and it will pay off with roses if you meet the challenge.
From Rick Wilke, Lawrenceville, Georgia to Coach Coker: I’ve been a CANES fan as long as I can remember. I moved to Atlanta 14 years ago (in SEC country) and love being able to brag on a REAL TEAM like UM.
From Brian Hare, Arlington Heights, Illinois to Jarrett Payton: JP what is up man! I just want to see what you are doing. How are things going on down there?
From Tadrick Orange, Norcross, Georgia to Clinton Portis: What’s up cousin see you soon
From Shawn Storey, Lauderhill, Florida to Kevin Beard: What’s up man? Where’s my towel? Anyhow hope you guys aren’t paying any attention to the BCS, the poll with one letter two many. Everything will work out an you’ll be in Pasadena New Years. See ya Saturday after the Temple destruction.
From Jeri Sackett, Lawrenceville, Georgia to the Team: Keep up the great work – I was raised on Hurricane Football – Glad to see that we are back in the hunt – We’ll show those BCS pollsters, just give us the chance!! GO CANES
From Andy Czako, Schaumburg, Illinois to Ken Dorsey: Ken, I just want to say that you are doing a wonderful job with the Canes. I look forward to watching you play every week. Living up here in Illinois, it’s hard to see you, but I watch. Good luck in the upcoming games, and thanks. Andy
From Deron Breeze, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Andre Johnson: Been to two games this year, keep dominating, you are the best receiver in football.
From Don Pascale, Boynton Beach, Florida to the team: Don’t be distracted by the BCS. Just keep focused on winning. You will be rewarded at the end of the season with a trip to Pasadena.
From Chris Wood, Sarasota, Florida to Ed Reed: Mr. Reed, After seeing many undefeated teams go down this past weekend, please do whatever you can to keep the team focused on each & every game. I have waited too long for the National Championship to return to where it belongs. Thanks!
From Chris Wood, Sarasota, Florida to the Offensive Line: You guys are one of the reasons why the Canes are great. Stay healthy, stay focused and don’t forget that we all love you guys! Go Canes! 1983 1987 1989 1991
From Michael Russ, Lake City, Florida to Ken Dorsey: Ken, my girlfriend and I think you are the best QB in college football. Keep up the good work.
From Anedra Coleman, Baton Rouge, Lousiana to Edward “Pumpkin” Reed: Edward, over the years, I have watched you mature tremendously, both “off and on” the field. I am SO proud of you! As your dearest friend, I ask one favor of you this season… Continue leading the CANES and most importantly, continue DOMINATING!!!
From Nikki Cook, Apopka, Florida to Ken Dorsey: I’ll have to say being a hurricane fan hasn’t always been easy. It’s the players that play because they love Miami football not for bragging rights, that helped the fans through the rough seasons! THANKS!!
From Rhonda Wimberly, Miami, Florida to Frank Gore: I like your style. Please don’t change.
From Brandon McCoy, Jasper, Florida to the Hurricanes: Good game against Florida State. Y’all deserve to be #1 even though I’m an FSU fan.

From Michael Warthen, Jacksonville, Florida to Coach Larry Coker and the Hurricane Team: Hey Guys …CONGRATULATIONS!! They don’t want to show us any respect so go out and kick their BUTTS… A True CANES fan… GO CANES!!!
From Brent Phillips, Antioch, Tennessee to Ed Reed and Philip Buchanon: Great game, guys. A lot of big plays when we really needed them.
From Ebony Beneby, Pompano Beach, Florida to Najeh Davenport: You’re doing a great job, keep it up! I don’t watch football much but I can see and have heard that you are good. Your brother needs to be back on the field with you! KEEP DOING YOUR THANG!
From O. Brady, San Francisco, California to Kyle Morgan: Good luck from the City and your folks at Gal!
From Jamal Gallow, Los Angeles, California to Larry Coker: Great job against FSU and putting the Canes back on top. I can not wait until you win here at the Rose Bowl. It is time for people out here to see how you really play good football. Thank you and Godspeed!
From Michael Vinzon, Long Beach, California to Ken Dorsey: Great job holding off Florida St. last week. Remember to give Washington what they deserve! And then some. I hope you steal the Heisman from that crybaby at Oregon. Lucky for them, they don’t play the Canes. Best luck for the season!

Keep up the good work and bring the National Championship home!!!
From Gerard P. Bross, Coral Springs, Florida to Coach Coker: Thanks for bringing joy back to Miami Football and going up to Tallahassee and Beating FSU.
