Aug. 13, 2001
Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) — The University of Miami volleyball team continued its preparation for the upcoming 2001 season as it held a full squad practice Monday morning at the newly-resurfaced Knights Sports Complex on the UM campus.
The Knight Sports Complex, which also serves as the home-court for the UM women’s basketball program, recently received a face-lift this summer to alter the floor’s look to accommodate UM’s newest varsity sport.
The Hurricanes will hold two-a-day practice everyday this week beginning this Monday at 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The Hurricanes open the 2001 season away from home on Friday, August 31, at 7 p.m. against Davidson College at the Davidson Tournament in Davidson, NC.
