Women's Basketball Travels To Face No. 2 Notre Dame

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The University of Miami women’s basketball team will travel to South Bend, In. to face No. 2 Notre Dame Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a BIG EAST matchup.
The Hurricanes are 13-11 overall and 6-7 in conference action, while Notre Dame is 23-1 overall and 12-1 in conference.
The Fighting Irish own a 10-2 all-time advantage over the Hurricanes, and have won the last three in a row.
Miami will ride a two-game win streak into the contest, while the Fighting Irish are coming off of their first loss of the season. ND fell 54-53 to Rutgers Saturday night in Piscataway, NJ.
The Hurricanes downed visiting Pittsburgh 96-69 Saturday night. Amanda Papuga (Oak Brook, Ill.) came off of the bench to lead Miami with 16 points and career-high seven assists.
Chanivia Broussard (Miami, Fla.) continues to lead the Miami offense averaging 12.7 points per game.
Ruth Riley leads ND, averaging 18.7 points per game overall and 21.4 points per game in conference games. Riley adds 7.8 rebounds per game.
