Women's Basketball Set To Face Pittsburgh

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The University of Miami women’s basketball team plays host to Pittsburgh Saturday night at 7 p.m. in Knight Sports Complex.
Miami enters the contest 12-11 overall and 5-7 in the BIG EAST, while the Panthers are 9-15 overall and 3-10 in conference.
The Panthers defeated Miami earlier in the season at Pittsburgh, 84-74. The Hurricanes own a 12-8 all-time advantage over Pitt.
Miami is coming off of an 80-43 win over visiting St. John’s Wednesday night. Pitt fell 73-44 to Villanova Wednesday night, and has not won a game since the Jan. 30 victory over Miami.
Freshman Chanivia Broussard continues to lead Miami averaging 12.6 points per game.
Sophomore Mandy Whittenmyer leads the Panthers with 13.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
