'Take a Kid to the Game' /Junior 'Canes Youth Day

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Area youngsters will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere when University of Miami hosts NCAA Football’s annual “Take a Kid to the Game” (TAKG) program in conjunction with Coca-Cola Junior ‘Canes Youth Day on October 28th, 2000. Any youth age 13 or under, will receive a free ticket with the purchase of a $15 general admission adult ticket (limit 2 children per adult ticket), to watch the Hurricanes take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in the Orange Bowl.

The University of Miami is one of more than 150 schools across the nation to particiapte in this campaign focused on attracting more of the nation’s youth to college games. The TAKG program is entering it’s sixth year in the promotion of NCAA Athletics.

Tickets for this game can be purchased only at the Northeast Plaza in the Orange Bowl the day of the game.
