SEBASTIAN'S TOP READS

Check out Sebastian’s quarterly list of his favorite book recommendations!

Halloween Hustle

Grade Level: 2-7

“These monsters have fun on Halloween just like I do on game days. The monsters remind me of how I dance, do spell outs, and have a great time on game days to entertain fans.”

Turkey Trouble

Grade Level: K-3

“Oh No, it’s Thanksgiving time and my cousin Turkey needs to be saved from being the main course. I hope it works out like last year, and he can turn himself into a pig or a horse. But not a bird! I hope he can think fast, or that will be his neck.”

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

Grade Level: K-4

“This is one of my favorites because Thanksgiving was spent with friends. Friends are just important as family during the Holidays. Charlie knew nothing about cooking but he made it with love for everyone to eat.  This reminds me of the love I have for one of my friends, Maniac.”

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Grade Level: K-3

“Not everyone loves Christmas as we can tell with the Grinch. This book has taught me two valuable lessons as a little bird. One, just because you are hurt, does not mean you can hurt people. Two, not everyone has a family to share this season with so be kind and welcoming no matter what.”

Love, Santa

Grade Level: 3-7

“Am I the only one who writes Santa a letter before Christmas? Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Reindeers always send a letter back full of Christmas spirit, love and giving. As a little bird, momma and poppa bird worked with Santa to bring Christmas goodies to me every Christmas. This made me so happy.”
