University of Miami head rowing coach James Mulcahy announced in August the hiring of Néstor Noguera as a graduate student intern.
Noguera joins the Hurricanes after serving as a project coordinator at Centific, where he coordinated multiple global projects involving AI and LLM training for top-tier tech clients. He also oversaw scheduling and communications for multiple teams and managed project timelines to ensure deadlines were consistently met.
Noguera has an extensive background in sports journalism and media, including experience as a radio host, writer and content creator covering major events like the FIFA World Cup. He served as a pre-match ceremony cast volunteer for the FIFA Club World Cup this past summer.
At Miami, Noguera will assist with social media and public promotion of the rowing team. He previously worked with the communications and marketing departments at both Barry University and Miami FC.
Noguera graduated from Barry University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Emerging Media and earned master’s degrees in International Marketing and International Business from the Hult International Business School.
