Matthew Fyle was named assistant strength and conditioning coach at Miami in April 2024.
Prior to arriving in Coral Gables, Fyle spent the past five seasons as an associate strength & conditioning coach at Maryland. Fyle, who joined the Terps in January 2019, spent the 2018 season as an associate strength and conditioning coordinator for the University of Oregon football program.
Before joining the staff at Oregon, Fyle spent two seasons with the University of Georgia as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Fyle also has two years of experience in a similar role within the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons organization.
Fyle spent three years in the Unites States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division with a deployment to Iraq in 2004. He holds multiple professional certifications such as SCCC with the CSCCa, CSCS with the NSCA, USAW, First Aid and CPR certification.
Fyle and his wife, Stephanie, have three children together: Ben, James, and Nicholas.
