Krawec Named to CRCA All-America Second Team

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami rowing team’s Jenny Krawec was selected to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-America Second Team Monday, marking her second All-America selection in as many years.

Krawec, a senior native of Ontario, Canada, was tabbed a CRCA Second-Team All-American in 2003 and garnered the honor once again this year after leading the Hurricanes’ Varsity 8 to one of the most successful seasons in school history.

As a member of the Hurricanes’ Varsity 8 crew, Krawec helped lead Miami to a school-best second place finish at the 2004 BIG EAST Challenge as well as a first place finish at the 2004 Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships.

Krawec and teammate Rachel Clausing were honored by the CRCA earlier this season with Krawec being named to the All-South Region First Team and Clausing taking All-South Region Second Team honors.
