Hurricanes Hand Out Thanksgiving Dinners

On Tuesday, November 23rd, several student-athletes from the Hurricanes’ baseball, men’s cross country, rowing, women’s track, women’s tennis, and volleyball helped hand out Thanksgiving Dinners at the men’s basketball game. The teams distributed 75 full dinners, donated by Sysco Food Services of South Florida. This marked the ninth consecutive year that the University of Miami Athletics has reached out to the community during the holidays. The Miami area organizations that received dinners were: Child Hope, Florida Baptist Home, Gladstone Center, Murray Park Community Center, Project Hope, and Universal Truth Center.
