Zach Schabbel began in 2023 as Miami’s Director of Football Video. Schabbel oversees all day-to-day coaching video operations for the Hurricanes, coordinates Miami self and opponent scouting video for coach and student-athlete review, and manages a team of student assistants.
Schabbel joined the Hurricanes after two seasons with the University of Maryland football program, where he worked within the Terrapins’ video department. He spent the 2019-2020 seasons in the same capacity at Florida International as the Head Video Coordinator.
Schabbel joined FIU after a stint at the University of Florida from 2016-2019 as a student video intern. He also worked as a coaching video intern with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during OTA’s in 2017 and 2018.
