Jason Jiang is an IT Support Specialist with Athletics Information Technology (AIT). A recent graduate of Florida International University, Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a near-perfect 3.98 GPA, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Dean’s List recognition every year from 2022 to 2025 and the Florida Academic Scholar Bright Futures distinction.
Jason’s academic background includes an Undergraduate Certificate in Ethics, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to technology that blends strong technical fundamentals with an awareness of responsible computing practices. He is currently working toward his CompTIA A+ certification.
Technically adept across a wide range of platforms and tools, Jason is proficient in PowerShell, Bash, Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, and HTML/CSS, with hands-on experience in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and hardware diagnostics. He has built and maintained home lab environments using VirtualBox and Active Directory for hands-on IT practice, developed a responsive programming portfolio website, and configured self-hosted private servers. His prior experience includes a Project Manager/Support internship at OpenLaw Inc., where he resolved hardware and platform issues and performed QA testing, as well as research work with the National Science Foundation configuring Raspberry Pi-based network systems and analyzing network packet data.
