Jackie Lopez joined the University of Miami Athletics Department in January of 2019 as a Client Experience Specialist before moving into Ticket Operations for the Miami Hurricanes Ticket Office. She oversees all ticketing for the Miami Women’s Basketball program and handles all daily financial and post-event reconciliations for all ticketed sports.
Prior to taking on this role, she worked for over 3 years as a Client Experience Specialist for the Miami Hurricanes. She implemented world-class customer service standards for all Hurricane season ticket holders and facilitated the in-game day experience for all home Football, Baseball, and Men’s and Women’s Basketball games.
Prior to joining UM, she was a game day and events intern with Hurricane Club from September 2017 to December 2018 and assisted with hospitality during home Football and Men’s Basketball games as well as various athletic events. She worked as a SPED elementary teacher specializing in children with autism from 2015-2018 and a physical education teacher from 2013-2014. She also worked as the first full time athletic trainer at Saint Brendan High School in Miami from 2009-2012 and as an athletic trainer at the Grove and Key Biscayne Physical Therapy from 2014-2015.
Jackie is a native of Miami and grew up a Hurricanes fan. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and master’s degree in Sports Administration from the University of Miami in 2019.
