David is a native of Park City, Utah, and joined the University of Miami in June 2025 as a Sports Physical Therapy Resident, primarily working with Olympic sports. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Miami in 2025, where he was actively involved in pre-participation screenings for the University’s baseball, soccer, and volleyball teams.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Louisiana State University, graduating in 2020. During his time at LSU, he gained valuable clinical experience working with several collegiate teams, including football, gymnastics, and baseball.
Before beginning his DPT program, David worked as an Athletic Trainer in the Salt Lake City area, covering events for local high schools and club sports teams. His combined background in athletic training and physical therapy fuels his passion for helping athletes recover from injury and optimize performance.
