Chris Beltran is a Miami native and proud University of Miami graduate from the class of 2020. He currently serves as the Digital Strategy Manager for the Miami Hurricanes, overseeing day to day content for all social platforms under the @miamihurricanes handle. Since joining the athletic department, Chris has helped elevate the Hurricanes digital presence with a blend of high energy storytelling, on the ground coverage, and a deep understanding of fan culture.
Before returning to his alma mater, Chris worked at Bleacher Report in Integrated Marketing before moving to House of Highlights as a Content Producer. During his time with HoH, he covered the NBA, MLS, US Soccer, and major boxing events while producing social media features with athletes such as Charles Barkley, Angel Reese, and Miami Heat legend Pat Riley.
A graduate of UM’s School of Communication, Chris began building his career in digital media during his undergraduate years. He has since accumulated hundreds of millions of cross platform views and built a reputation for sharp creative instincts and a strong pulse on modern sports storytelling.
Born and raised in Miami and a Christopher Columbus High School alumnus, Chris still calls the city home and is proud to create for the program that shaped him.
