Bianca Galassini, a native of Frankfort, Illinois, joined the University of Miami in June 2025 as a Sports Physical Therapy Resident, primarily working with the Hurricanes football team.
Bianca earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Miami in 2025. During her time at Miami, she gained hands-on experience through clinical rotations, including work with the UM Baseball team at the start of the 2025 spring season. She also served as a strength and conditioning intern and contributed to pre-participation screenings for the soccer, volleyball, and baseball teams.
Before attending graduate school, Bianca earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina in 2021. A former Division I student-athlete, she competed for the Gamecocks’ women’s soccer team from 2017 to 2021. During her collegiate career, she was part of teams that made a Final Four appearance and captured the 2019 SEC Tournament Championship and the 2017 SEC Regular Season title.
