Lettered all four years in volleyball at Poquoson High School… Played under head coach Colleen Duman on the varsity side of things… Served as co-captain and an outside hitter during her senior season, helping the Islanders to a 13-5 overall record… Named First Team All-Bay River’s District as a junior and senior, as well as Second Team All-Region One (1) as a senior… Named to the Daily Press All-Star Team… Played club for the Virginia Beach Volleyball Academy – 18 National, serving as a captain on that squad in 2010… Played on that VBVBA 18 National squad under head coach Mike Roberts… Helped her team win the club division at the OVA Invitational in Orlando, Fla., while assisting in the team’s fifth place finish out of 90 participating teams at the Shamrock Festival in Roanoke, Va., with both tournaments being in March 2010… Led her team in kills, hitting percentage and service aces… Also played club for the Williamsburg Volleyball Club – 17’s, under head coach A.J. Bonetti (currently an assistant coach at UNC Wilmington)… Held a high school GPA of 4.2 through graduation… Ranked eighth in her graduating class out of 219 students… Member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society and Math Honor Society…
