Miami at the Olympic Games
The University of Miami has a rich history with the Summer and Olympic Winter Games as more than 50 Hurricanes have competed for various countries since 1936. That list includes Lauryn Williams, who is the only woman in United States history to medal in both the Summer and Winter Games.
Several UM coaches, including current diving head coach Randy Ableman and current head track and field coach Amy Deem, have coached for Team USA during their careers.
