CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami women's basketball guard, Gal Raviv, has been named to the 2026-27 Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award Preseason Watch List, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced Monday.

Raviv is one of 20 players nationally selected to the preseason watch list for the prestigious award, which recognizes the top point guard in NCAA Division I women's basketball.

Named after Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman, the award recognizes the nation's premier point guard and celebrates excellence at the position.

The preseason watch list will remain fluid throughout the 2026-27 season, allowing players to be added or removed as the year progresses. The list will be narrowed to 10 candidates in late February before the announcement of the five finalists in March.

Fan voting for the Nancy Lieberman Award will open Friday, Oct. 30, with the leading vote-getter receiving one additional vote in the award selection process.
