Schremmer Named ACC Golfer of the Month

Schremmer earns ACC Golfer of the Month honor after capturing two individual titles in her first three tournaments of the season.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami women’s golfer Scarlett Schremmer has been named ACC Golfer of the Month following a dominant stretch to open the 2026-27 season.

Schremmer captured two individual titles across three tournaments during the month, winning the Boilermaker Classic and Golfweek Red Sky Classic while helping the Hurricanes record a team victory and a runner-up finish.

Schremmer opened the season at the Boilermaker Classic earning the first individual title of her Hurricane career. Schremmer carded rounds of 68, 75 and 67 to finish at 6-under to claim first place.

Schremmer followed with a 1-over (214) at the Cougar Classic, posting back-to-back rounds of 70 to close the tournament. She finished 22nd individually as Miami placed fifth in the 18-team field.

The Birmingham, Ala., native capped the month with a record-setting performance at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic at Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo.

Schremmer fired three consecutive rounds in the 60s, opening with a 5-under (67) before posting back-to-back rounds of 6-under (66). She finished the tournament at 17-under (199) to secure her second individual championship in three starts.

Her 199 marked the second-lowest 54-hole individual score in Miami women’s golf history.

Across her three tournaments, Schremmer totaled a 623 over nine rounds for a 69.22 scoring average, with six of her nine rounds at par or better. She posted five rounds in the 60s, including a pair of 66s during her championship performance at Red Sky.
