Miami earns a top-10 national ranking alongside Schremmer's No. 9 individual placement.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women's golf team earned the No. 7 spot in the latest NCAA Division I Scoreboard powered by Clippd national rankings, while freshman Scarlett Schremmer checked in at No. 9 in the player rankings.

The national recognition follows a strong start to the 2026-27 campaign for the Hurricanes, who have captured two team titles and added a runner-up finish through their first three tournaments of the season.

Schremmer has played a key role in Miami's early success, claiming two individual titles in her first three collegiate appearances. The Birmingham, Ala., native opened her Miami career with a victory at the Boilermaker Classic, finishing six-under-par with rounds of 68, 75 and 67.

She followed that performance with another individual championship at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, carding a 17-under-par 199 (67-66-66) to secure the title by three strokes. Her 54-hole total marked the second-lowest individual tournament score in program history.

Through her first three collegiate tournaments, Schremmer has recorded seven rounds under par in nine opportunities, including a pair of impressive rounds of 66.

As a team, Miami opened the season with a championship at the Boilermaker Classic before placing fifth at the Cougar Classic. The Hurricanes continued their strong start at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, posting an 831 across three rounds, the second lowest 54-hole team score in program history.
