CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s golf team is ranked No. 13 in the first Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division I Coaches Poll of the 2026 fall season, marking the Hurricanes’ first appearance in the poll since April 2019.

Miami received 182 points, placing three points behind No. 12 Arkansas and three ahead of No. 14 UCLA. The Hurricanes are one of five ACC programs in the top 25, joining No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 8 Virginia, No. 11 Stanford and No. 15 Duke.

The Division I poll is determined by ballots from a committee of 33 women’s golf head coaches representing conferences and regions across the country. Each coach ranks 25 teams, awarding 25 points for first place, 24 for second and one for 25th. The points from those ballots determine the rankings.

Thus far, Miami has opened the season with a team title at the Boilermaker Classic, a fifth-place finish at the Cougar Classic and a runner-up finish at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic. Scarlett Schremmer has also claimed two individual titles at the Boilermaker Classic and the Golfweek Red Sky Classic.
