WOLCOTT, Colo. – Scarlett Schremmer captured her second individual title of the season, and the University of Miami women’s golf team placed second at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Wednesday at Red Sky Golf Club’s Fazio Course.
Schremmer finished at 17-under-par (199), posting rounds of 67, 66 and 66. Her 54-hole total ranks as the second-lowest individual score in Miami program history.
The Hurricanes carded rounds of 277, 281 and 273 for a 33-under-par (831), the second lowest 54-hole team score in school history. Miami’s final round was its best of the tournament, shooting 15-under-par (273), securing second place in the field of 20.
Ashleen Kaur joined Schremmer in the top 15, tying for 15th at 7-under 209 after rounds of 68, 71 and 70. Olivia Gronborg tied for 26th at 4-under 212, while Barbora Bujáková tied for 40th at 1-under 215. Bella Dovhey rounded out Miami’s lineup in a tie for 59th at 3-over 219.
Competing as an individual, Carlee Rogers tied for 71st at 6-over 222. Rogers posted rounds of 74, 76 and 72, closing the tournament with an even-par final round.
