ORLANDO, Fla. – For Miami’s rowing team, another race week has arrived.
After strong showings at both the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational and the Sarasota 2K Invitational, the 15th-ranked Hurricanes are set to be back on the water Friday and Saturday when they compete at the UCF Orlando Invite.
And the regatta features to be one of Miami’s toughest tests yet this season.
The two-day UCF Orlando Invite features eight teams from across the country, including six who were ranked in the most recent CRCA Coaches Poll, including No. 11 UCF, No. 13 Alabama, No. 14 Duke, No. 15 Miami, No. 19 Pennsylvania, and No. 24 Oklahoma.
SMU and Clemson will round out the field.
The Hurricanes’ first race in Orlando is set to take place Friday at 7:40 a.m. when the 3V8+ hits the water. Racing will continue throughout Friday and into Saturday.
