Canes Rowing Race Day Central: Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational
OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – After months of preparation and a series of exhibition races and scrimmages, the Hurricanes rowing team is set to open its 2026 campaign at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on Saturday.
The two-day event will showcase 10 teams from across the county, including three teams ranked in the CRCA Preseason Top 25 (No. 14 Indiana, No. 18 Duke and No. 25 Oklahoma) and five teams from the ACC (Duke, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina and Notre Dame).
Alabama, Navy and Wisconsin round out the field.
Miami’s first race is set to take place Saturday at 9:28 when the 3V8+ hits the water. Racing will continue throughout the day and will conclude Sunday.
