Hurricanes Prepped for NCAA Indoor Championships
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Five Hurricanes and the men’s 4×400 relay are set to compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Edgar Campre will open the meet Friday at noon in the heptathlon before ACC champion and school record holder Ace Malone competes in the men’s 400m semifinal at 7:10 p.m.
Natalie Varela will make her first NCAA Indoor Championships appearance in the 800m semifinals at 7:25 p.m. before ACC champion Tania Da Silva competes in the women’s weight throw at 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Campre closes out the heptathlon at noon prior to Kennedy Sauder takes flight in the men’s high jump at 2:45 p.m.
The men’s 400m and women’s 800m finals are slated for 6 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. before the men’s 4×400 relay of Sean Watkins, George Franks, Dominique Hall and Malone close out the meet at 7:55 p.m.
