Sauder Named ACC Indoor Field Performer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – University of Miami track and field standout Kennedy Sauder was named the ACC Indoor Field Performer of the Week following his record-breaking performance last weekend, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Sauder broke his own school record in the high jump with a clearance of 2.22m at the Tiger Paw Classic.

The Lauderhill, Florida, native’s mark ranks as the fourth-highest clearance in the country and tops the ACC.

Sauder and the Hurricanes return to action Feb. 26-28 for the ACC Indoor Championships in Boston.
