Farouk Impresses on Day 3 of ACCs
ATLANTA – An impressive performance from veteran diver Mohamed Farouk paced the Miami Hurricanes swimming & diving team on Day 3 of the ACC Championships at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
Farouk, who qualified for the night’s finals in the men’s platform with a second-place showing during the morning’s preliminary round, finished seventh with a score of 329.40.
On the swimming end, Miami’s top entry in the 200-yard medley relay – comprised of Leah Treglia, Zofia Sobczak, Isabelle Videment and Ines Mahmoudi – finished in a time of 1:39.18.
The Hurricanes’ 800-yard freestyle relay – which was made up of veterans Savannah Barr, Ashlyn Massey and Sarah Sensenbrenner, to go along with Brooke Murphy – posted a time of 7:12.22.
The ACC Championships continue Wednesday from Atlanta.
