Miami Football Team to be Recognized at Men’s Basketball Game on Feb. 10
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami Athletics announced Tuesday that the Hurricanes football team, which advanced to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game this past season, will be honored at halftime of Miami’s men’s basketball game vs. North Carolina on Tuesday, February 10.
The Canes and Tar Heels tip off at Watsco Center at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2. The men’s basketball team currently owns a record of 17-5 overall and 6-3 in ACC play.
Football players and staff will appear on court for the halftime ceremony honoring the 2025 team. The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl trophy will be displayed on the Watsco Center concourse throughout the game for fans to take photos.
In addition, the Hurricane Club will host a silent auction on the concourse from pregame through halftime featuring official game-used, Player of the Game signed footballs awarded to quarterback Carson Beck, defensive end Rueben Bain, Jr., running back Mark Fletcher, Jr., offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa, wide receivers Malachi Toney and CJ Daniels, and more. Unsigned CFP National Championship Game-used footballs will also be available, with all proceeds from the auction supporting Miami student-athletes through the Hurricane Club.
