Miami Athletics Launches Canes Hoopsfest Promotion for Season-Opening Doubleheader

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami Athletics announced Monday it has launched a Canes Hoopsfest promotion for the men’s and women’s basketball season-opening doubleheader at Watsco Center on Monday, November 3.

The Miami women’s basketball team hosts Hofstra at 5 p.m. on November 3, followed by the men’s squad’s season opener against Jacksonville at 8 p.m.

Fans who purchase a ticket to the women’s game can remain in the arena for the men’s game and sit in Sections 117 and 118.

University of Miami students will receive free t-shirts and pizza at both games.

Miami’s women’s basketball team, entering its second season under head coach Tricia Cullop, has a 16-game home schedule, including matchups with Kentucky, NC State, Louisville, Florida State, Duke and Stanford. For season tickets call 1-800-GO-CANES or visit miamihurricanes.com/tickets.
