Photo Gallery: Rowing Boat Dedication

On Tuesday, the Hurricanes rowing team participated in its traditional class day races, pitting freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors against one another in friendly competition.

The team also welcomed a special guest to the Shane Watersports Center: Vice President/Athletic Director Dan Radakovich, who christened one of the team’s boats.

“I am so thrilled we were able to introduce Dan to this year’s team this way,” said head rowing coach James Mulcahy. “I’m really proud of this team, for how well they’ve been working this fall toward building this team into something special, something the entire University can be proud of. … and we are grateful for what Dan’s done, is doing, and will do for our team and our school.”
