
Miami Women's Basketball Slated No. 8 in ACC Preseason Poll
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami women’s basketball team was projected at No. 8 in the ACC Preseason Poll, the ACC league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Duke was slated at No. 1 in the preseason poll following their 2025 ACC Tournament title.
As a team, Miami is projected to finish eighth out of eighteen teams in the conference this season. Head coach Tricia Cullop and her staff signed a top 10 recruiting class in the nation and added a top 15 transfer class to its roster for the 2025-26 season. The elite talent brings a new layer of depth to the Hurricanes and propels them into the top half of the ACC preseason poll.
The Hurricanes are set to face Lynn University in an exhibition contest on Oct. 18 before tipping off the official 2025-26 season against Hofstra on Nov. 3 at the Watsco Center.
