ESPN's College GameDay Returning to Coral Gables

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — ESPN announced Saturday night that the network’s iconic college football pregame show College GameDay Built by the Home Depot will broadcast live from the University of Miami campus on Saturday, September 20, from 9 a.m. to noon for the Miami Hurricanes’ Week 4 matchup with the Florida Gators.

This will mark College GameDay’s first visit to Coral Gables since November 11, 2017, when the Canes defeated Notre Dame 41-8. The show last appeared at a Miami home game on September 26, 2020, but that broadcast took place from Hard Rock Stadium.

Fifth-ranked Miami is 3-0 after its 49-12 win over No. 18 USF this evening. Florida is 1-2 after losing to No. 3 LSU 20-10 in Baton Rouge.

The Canes and Gators have met 57 times with Miami holding a 30-27 edge. The Canes defeated Florida 41-17 in Gainesville last season.
