Jakub Kroslak Signs with Hurricanes
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami men’s tennis head coach Alex Santos announced the addition of Middle Tennessee State transfer Jakub Kroslak.
Said Santos, ” Jakub is a student-athlete with extremely high character. He has the potential of developing into a premier college tennis player. We are excited to begin this journey with him and his family.”
Kroslak earned the MTSU Male Newcomer of the Year award and was named Conference USA Freshman of the Year. He also helped the Blue Raiders to back-to-back Conference USA titles.
The incoming junior comes to the U with 33 singles wins and 28 doubles wins after earning a place on the 2024 All-CUSA Singles First Team and Doubles Second Team.
Prior to college, Kroslak had a career high ATP ranking of No. 1289 and UTR of 12.7. He also reached the semifinals at a 15k tournament twice in doubles.
“I’m excited to become a Hurricane because the environment here is great to pursue my goals on and off the tennis court,” said Kroslak.
Kroslak is the first addition for the 2025-26 season and will join the Hurricanes after coming off their first berth back to the NCAA tournament since 2022 and their 30th appearance in program history.
