
Miami Selected to 2025 NCAA Tournament
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team is headed to the NCAA Team Championship for its 30th postseason bid in program history and first since 2022.
In head coach Alex Santos’ first year at the helm, the fourth-seeded Hurricanes will take on the top-seeded UCF Knights in the first round of the Team Championship on Saturday, May 3. in Orlando, Fla. The second-seeded Florida Gators and the third-seeded USF Bulls round out the Orlando pod.
Miami met UCF before conference season started, where they claimed the 4-2 win against the Knights, ranked No. 21 at the time. The Hurricanes have also met USF this season, where they grabbed the 5-2 win right before taking on UCF.
The Hurricanes are 17-29 all-time in the Team Championship, hold a 12-16 record in first round action and boast a 17-6 record against UCF.
The winner of the first round will take on the winner of Florida and USF on Sunday, May 4.
