Miami Opens ACC Tournament Against Virginia Tech

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s tennis team (9-12, 4-8) enters the 2025 ACC Women’s Tennis Championships as the No. 10 seed and will take on No. 15-seeded Virginia Tech (13-11, 2-10) in the second round on Wednesday afternoon in Cary, N.C.

The start time at the Cary Tennis Park is set for 12:30 p.m. Miami is seeded tenth following a 4-8 conference record.

The Hurricanes did not face the Hokies this season with the addition of Stanford, California and SMU joining the ACC. The last time the two faced off was in the second round of the 2024 ACC Championships, where Miami swept Virginia Tech to advance.
