Hurricanes Hit the Road for Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Miami track and field team hits the road for the first time this outdoor season as it travels to compete at the Florida Relays on Friday and Saturday at the Percy Beard Track.

The two-day meet begins Friday at 11 a.m. with the hammer throw while action on the track gets underway at 2:30 p.m. with the women’s 4×100 relay. On Saturday, the meet opens with the discus at 9 a.m. before the 100m hurdles at noon.

Joining the Hurricanes in the loaded field are several ranked teams in Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, Mississippi State, South Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M,
