
Miami Finishes 10th at Clemson Invitational
SUNSET, S.C. – The University of Miami golf team concluded its regular season schedule on Sunday, placing 10th out of 15 teams at the 2025 Clemson Invitational.
The Hurricanes totaled a team score of 862 (-2) on the par-72, 6,489-yard course at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
For the fourth time this season, sophomore Rebekah Gardner led the Hurricanes in scoring, finishing tied for 28th with a three-under-par score of 213. Gardner shot par-or-better in all three rounds of competition.
Junior Olivia Grønborg put together an even-par score of 216 to place tied for 38th, while freshman Cloe Amion Villarino finished tied for 41st after shooting 217 (+1) in the tournament.
Sophomore Barbora Bujáková (220; +4) and freshman Sofie Hlinomazová (221; +5) concluded the tournament in 53rd and tied for 54th, respectively.
No. 24 Ohio State won the Clemson Invitational with an impressive 54-hole score of 819 (-45), while No. 2 Arkansas and No. 11 LSU rounded out the podium in second and third, respectively.
The Hurricanes will head to Greensboro, N.C., on April 16-18 to take part in the 2025 ACC Golf Championship at the Sedgefield Country Club.
