13 Hurricanes Named to ACC Cross Country All-Academic Teams

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Thirteen members of the University of Miami cross country teams garnered 2024 ACC All-Academic Team honors, the league office announced Tuesday.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career.

In addition, student-athletes must have competed in either the ACC Championship and/or the NCAA Championship.

Enrique Borrego, Michael Castillo, Owen Hirt, Cormac O’Brien, Luke Suliman and Nico Valentine represented the men’s program.

Seven members of women’s team earned the distinction, including Milla Cronin, Peyton Dolan, Emma Hencock, Anna Hollister, Daphnee Lavassas, Maddie Schier and Eloise Stuart.

The Hurricanes return to the track Feb. 14-15 at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C.
