Track and Field Travels to Louisville for PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Miami Track and Field team hits the road to take part in the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Norton Healthcare Sport and Learning Center.
The two-day meet begins at 10 a.m. Friday with the heptathlon followed by the men’s 60m and field events starting at 10:30 with the men’s weight throw.

At last week’s Corky Classic, the men’s 4×400 relay rewrote the Miami record books as the team of George Franks, Solomon Strader, Ace Malone and Sean Watkins Jr., registered a time of 3:07.15, besting the previous indoor school record of 3:08.63.
Helga Sigurjonsdottir recorded the second-best indoor mark in the high jump with a height of 1.83m.
In the men’s 200m, Lance Ward and clocked 21.48 for the fourth-fastest time in indoor school history while Carter Cukerstein ran 21.57 for the fifth-fastest time. Cukerstein shined in the 60m, recording the fifth-fastest time in school history with a 6.73.
Payton Serraglio cleared 12-4/3.76m in the pole vault, the fifth-best mark in program annals, while Strader registered a personal-best time of 46.36 in the 400m which ranks second in school history.
