Hurricanes Prepped and Ready for Texas Tech’s Corky Classic
LUBBOCK, Tx. — The University of Miami Track and Field team will travel to Lubbock, Tx. for the Corky Classic indoor meet on January 17 and 18.
The two-day competition will begin at 4 p.m. Eastern time with the women’s weight throw (men to follow). Track events are slated to start at 6 p.m. with the women’s 60m hurdles. The full schedule of events can be found HERE.

At last week’s Gamecock Opener, junior runner Gabriella Grissom put on a show in the women’s 600m — clocking 1:26.89 to break the Miami school record, ACC record, and tie BYU’s Sami Oblad for the sixth-fastest 600m time in NCAA history.
Grissom was later tabbed Women’s Track Co-Performer of the Week by the ACC.
