Haley and Hanna Cavinder Named to Forbes 30 Under 30 List
NEW YORK – Forbes unveiled its 14th annual 30 Under 30 List for the Class of 2025 Tuesday, and University of Miami women’s basketball players Haley and Hanna Cavinder were recognized on the prestigious list.
The 30 Under 30 List recognizes leaders from North America, within 20 different industries, many of whom are creating meaningful change with business, culture and entrepreneurship. To develop the list, Forbes convened an independent panel of expert judges.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder returned to Miami ahead of the 2024-25 season to exercise their final year of collegiate eligibility after taking a year off, and they have gotten off to a sensational start to begin the campaign, helping lead the Hurricanes to a 7-0 start.
Haley Cavinder has been tremendous for Miami, as she has started all seven games for the Canes and is currently first on the team and seventh overall in the ACC in scoring this season (18.0 PPG). She also leads the team in rebounds per game (6.6 RPG) and assists per contest (4.7 APG). Haley Cavinder recently scored 30 points, recorded nine assists, and grabbed six rebounds in Miami’s win over Quinnipiac in the Championship Game of the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament, marking the first time in program history a player recorded such numbers. She garnered MVP honors for the event after averaging 24.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game in Miami’s wins over Charlotte and Quinnipiac.
Hanna Cavinder has also been outstanding for the Canes this season. She has started all seven contests for Miami and is averaging 8.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. In the first round of the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament, she scored nine points and matched a career-high by recording nine assists, helping lead the Canes to a 79-63 victory over Charlotte.
The Cavinder’s and the rest of the Miami squad will return to the court Wednesday evening at 5 p.m., as they are slated to host Vanderbilt as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge.
